Yes, August 2022 is the Paper Pumpkin kit that just keeps giving. The envelopes are pretty, the card bases are pretty – you really have to use it all! One of the card bases raised it’s hand and told me that it wanted to be put to another use – so I obliged: I took…
While I find a great kit in my mailbox every month with my Paper Pumpkin subscription, every now and then the mailbox glows when I open it (kind of like that briefcase in Pulp Fiction). Well, August was one of those months. And I’m not the only one singing its praises – everywhere I turn,…
Who doesn’t love a spooky bag? I love ’em! I whipped one up using the Embossed Treat Bags and the Cottage Wreath bundle – super fun! To make this card, you’ll need the following supplies: Cardstock/Paper: Scraps of Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black; 3” x 3” squares of Gingham Cottage DSP; scraps of Basic White…
I’ll be the first to admit (which I have several times already here) that I buy things that I never use. Well, the Brushstroke Specialty Paper was one of those items. OMG – I need that [to sit on my shelf]. I took it out and immediately slumped my shoulders when thinking about what I…

Has anyone been camping this summer season? I know I haven’t – the fun idea I had of ‘roughing it’ in the backyard with the boys was quickly dashed by a family of raccoons that have moved into the neighborhood. I’ll stay inside and let the critters have fun with the bugs and whatnot. My…
Maybe next week I will get back on the Christmas-crafting train but until then – I’ll have to continue down the summertime path. This card is quick and easy – it starts with stamping on Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Paper – what a neat trick! To make this card, you’ll need the following supplies: Cardstock/Paper:…
July’s Paper Pumpkin kit had a nautical theme – seagulls, ships, messages in a bottle – how fun! I chose to do more of an abstract type of alternative – I simply used one of the background types of stamps and some masking paper to create a swirl of color. I stamped my sentiment on…
As a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I was able to attend an online event called Creativity Now! this past June. We made 4 cards and a bag – it was so much fun! One of the cards we made (demonstrated by Julie DiMatteo, the Paper Pixie) used Stampin’ Up!’s craft white ink to draw out the…
