I always grab a ‘baby bundle’ when they come out from Stampin’ Up! I can always use a baby card and I love to have variety.
It’s a really cute set:
I chose that cute little lion holding the rising star – so cute!!!!
To make this project, you’ll need the following supplies:
- Cardstock/Paper: Misty Moonlight (4 ¼” x 11, scored at 5 ½”), Smoky Slate (4” x 5 ¼”), scraps of Basic White and 1 piece cut at 4” x 5 ¼” for inside panel, scraps of Textured Shimmer Paper in white
- Ink: Basic Gray, Misty Moonlight
- Basic Tools: Snips, Trimmer, Adhesives (Glue, Glue Dots, Dimensionals)
- Additional Tools/Supplies: Stampin’ Blends (Wild Wheat, Copper Clay, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake), Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems, Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders; Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Regular or Mini)
- Stamps/Dies: Little Dreamers Bundle
To make this project, follow these steps:
- Stamp your main animal image and 2 shooting star images in Basic Gray. (You can use Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black – I wanted a more muted look). Color in your images using the Stampin’ Blends. Cut images out using the coordinating dies.
- Emboss the Smoky Slate panel using the striped embossing folder and adhere to your card base (Misty Moonlight) using Stampin’ Seal+.
- Stamp the sentiment in Misty Moonlight and crop using the smallest rounded rectangle dies from the Nested Essentials Dies.
- Cut out a moon and the clouds from the Textured Shimmer White paper.
- Adhere pieces to the card front using Dimensionals and Seal+.
- Finish off with a variety of Sparkle Gems.
I went over the lion a few times with the blends to give him his ‘fuzzy’ look:

I did use a lot of products on this card – but you could probably use what you have on hand with this set – so versatile. Here are the links to the products that I used:
