The May 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit, as some other past May kits, includes all of the new In Colors:

A lot of people have commented on how subtle these colors are and how these colors remind them of natural elements. May’s Paper Pumpkin Kit certainly showcases these sentiments:

The card bases in this kit are double sided (kind of like the past ‘sunflower’ kit from August). I definitely used that to my advantage.
Here are the cards as designed with their super cute matching envelopes:
For my alternative, I took one of the card bases and cut it along the score line at 4 1/4″. I then used the Countryside Corners dies to cut some shapes out:
I embossed a Pebbled Path card base using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and then swiped over it with the Pebbled Path ink pad (it sort of looks like mountains – so cool!!) I affixed the larger cutouts using Dimensionals, glued a sentiment piece on, and finished off with some Copper Clay ribbon. Love it!
You can get even more bang for your buck by using the smaller cutouts. Stamp some images from the Paper Pumpkin set in Moody Mauve on a piece of Moody Mauve card stock and then adhere the smaller cutouts. I used a sentiment piece from the kit and some In Color Jewels:

I totally loved these alternatives! Thanks for looking!
