The card projects in August’s Paper Pumpkin kit (Hope Box) are really gorgeous as is – I almost didn’t want to try anything different with them. I didn’t stray too far – I mixed up two of the included designs to make this card with it’s sweet little HOPE banner.

I cut the banners in half from the “Just a Note of Hope” card and used the Playful Alphabet Dies and a scrap of Blackberry Bliss cardstock to get the word ‘HOPE’. I followed the outline of the “Where There Is Hope” card for general placement. I used Bermuda Bay ink and a blending brush on the white cardstock and stamped a background stamp that came with the kit. I put my banners on a piece of Blackberry Bliss ribbon (retired) and adhered with glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered some of the butterflies and rhinestones to complete.
What do you think? I can’t wait to see what the treat packages are going to look like in next month’s kit – Haunts & Harvest.
