Cottage Wreaths Thank You Card

Here’s another project made with the Cottage Wreaths stamp set and Country Wreaths dies. It’s a thank you card – with an autumn/Thanksgiving theme.

To make this project, you’ll need the following supplies:

  • Cardstock/Paper: Copper Clay (4 ¼” x 11”, scored at 5 ½”), Pecan Pie (4” x 5 ¼”), Very Vanilla (inside panel: 4” x 5 ¼”; front: 1 ½” x 5 ¼”; scrap)
  • Ink: Copper Clay, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
  • Basic Tools: Snips, Trimmer, Adhesives (Glue, Glue Dots, Dimensionals)
  • Additional Tools/Supplies: Basics 3D Embossing Folders, Textured Ribbon in Copper Clay, Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Regular)
  • Stamps/Dies: Cottage Wreaths Stamp Set, Country Wreaths Dies

To make this project, follow these steps:

  • Emboss the Pecan Pie panel using the ‘stars’ embossing folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folder pack.
  • Stamp the sentiment on the 1 ½” x 5 ¼” strip of Very Vanilla in Copper Clay. Stamp the leaves images to the side of the sentiment using Crumb Cake. Affix this panel to the middle of the embossed Pecan Pie panel.
  • Wrap a 7-inch length of Copper Clay Textured Ribbon around the Pecan Pie panel (along the bottom of the Very Vanilla strip) and secure it to the back using adhesive. Adhere this panel to the card front.
  • Stamp sentiment on the Very Vanilla panel intended for the inside in Copper Clay – decorate edges with stamped leaves image in Crumb Cake.
  • Stamp the acorn image several times on a scrap of Very Vanilla using Early Espresso ink. Cut this out using the coordinating dies. Affix to the card front using Mini Dimensionals.
  • Tie a bow using the Copper Clay ribbon and affix to the center of the ribbon on the front using a glue dot or liquid glue.
