In Symmetry + Decorative Mask

A few different colors used here with a mask to make a fun background!

Dare I share yet one more card using the Butterflies and Flowers Decorative Layering Mask – well, I guess, yes, I shall!

When shuffling through those masks one more time before putting them away, I thought that this design would compliment the Sweet Symmetry DSP (and In Symmetry Photopolymer stamp set.)

I used my blending brushes with Night of Navy, Flirty Flamingo, and Bumblebee ink over the mask on top of a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock. I adhere that to a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Night of Navy and adhere that whole panel to a Flirty Flamingo card base (4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″).

I took 1″ scraps of Night of Navy, Calypso Coral, Basic White, and Sweet Symmetry DSP and staggered the lengths to punch different size strips with the Banner Pick a Punch. I stamped my sentiment on the piece of Basic White and adhered that to the Calypso Coral piece. I glued that to the cardbase and then arranged and glued down my other pieces.

I stamped a flower (Flirty Flamingo) and stem/leaves (Just Jade) and fussy cut those out. I adhered with glue and Dimensionals.

I’ve included the links to the products I’ve used below (you’ll be redirected to my store). I think the basic design would work with a lot of other stamps/papers – give it a try and email me your creations.
