Artistically Ink Birthday Card

This card is a simple one layer card for the most part – but those great intricate stamps and dies really make it stand out!
To make this project, you’ll need the following supplies:
- Cardstock/Paper: Thick Basic White (5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” on the long side), Scrap of Basic White (3/4” x 4”), Scrap of Pebbled Path
- Ink: Flirty Flamingo, Pebbled Path
- Basic Tools: Snips, Trimmer, Adhesives (Glue, Glue Dots, Dimensionals)
- Additional Tools/Supplies: 2023-2025 InColor Dots, 2023-2025 InColor Jute Trim, Banners Pick a Punch
- Stamps/Dies: Artistically Inked Stamp Set, Artistic Dies
To make this project, follow these steps:
- Ink the large ‘alcohol ink’ background stamp in Flirty Flamingo. Stamp 3 times (without re-inking) on the Thick Basic White card front. Move in increments that will leave you around halfway down the front of the card. Ink the stamp up again and repeat from your ending point.
- Cut out the long leaf piece from Pebbled Path card stock. I placed an adhesive sheet on the back of the card stock to make affixing this detailed piece to the card front easier. Place on the left side of the card front.
- Stamp the sentiment on the small piece of Basic White – use Pebbled Path ink. Crop each end using the punch. Affix this piece as shown using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Finish off with a jute trim bow and some InColor Dots.
