Potions & Spells Card
Here is another card I made using the Potions & Spells bundle from Stampin’ Up!
I started with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ (scored at 5 1/2″) card base of Gorgeous Grape. I then mixed some Granny Apple Green ink into some embossing paste and applied to a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Night of Navy card stock. I thought the blue made the green ‘weirder’ for my card – haha
While that paste was drying, I heat embossed my cauldron. I used White ink and white powder so it really stood out on the black. I stamped my books, cat, bottle, and sentiment and cut them out (I fussy cut the sentiment). I colored in the books and cat using my favorite coloring tool – Stampin’ Blends!
I am trying to use things I usually don’t lately – it’s a great way to make sure you use what you have – and it gets my creative juices flowing a little more.
