Hearts & Hugs Sending Hugs Card
Awe – another card using the Hearts & Hugs bundle (which is currently 10% off – as well as the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine).
I started with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ card base in Melon Mambo, scored at 5 1/2″. I used two layers of DSP – one is Smoky Slate at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/’8″; the other is Melon Mambo at 5 1/8″ x 3 3/4″.
I stamped my lovable huggers on a scrap of Smoky Slate in Memento Tuxedo and cut out using the coordinating die. I filled in some highlights using some watercolor pencils. I affixed them to the front of the card using Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment in black and the hearts in Melon Mambo on a scrap of Basic White and then cut out using the label die from the set. I affixed that using Dimensionals.
I finished off the card with a bow I made from Black Baker’s Twine.
