It’s almost that time of year where gift card/money holders come into high demand – but really aren’t they always?
Here’s a quick and easy money holder that uses a sheet of card stock and some DSP – easy peasy!
This particular project starts with a piece of Night of Navy cardstock cut to 9 1/16″ x 7 1/16″. Score on the long side at 2 3/4″ and 6 5/16″. Adhere one of the flap using Tear & Tape.
The Designer Series Paper used here is cut to 2 5/8″ x 6 15/16″ – you’ll need two pieces.
I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Basic White in Misty Moonlight ink and cut out using the 3 largest dies from the Countryside Corners Dies. An optional step is to cut a ribbon tab into the side of this sentiment panel using the Very Best Trio Punch. I used a 26″ length of Boho Blue ribbon to tie around the upper flap of this money holder. If you used the tab punch, you can weave one end of the ribbon through it and then tie a bow – if not, just tie the bow to the left of the sentiment panel (which is adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals).
This is a simple design that can really be used for any occasion – give it a try with your own spin and drop your pictures in the comments! I’d love to see what you create.
