June’s Paper Pumpkin Kit (Welcome Inn) is a really sweet kit that has sentiments perfect for all things hospitality-related (thanks and invitation). It includes floral images and even came with an add-on of 3 little dies that can help you get more out of the included stamp set.
Here are the 3 cards I made following the great pictorial instructions included in the kit:
They are great – they show off Stampin’ Up!’s great blue colors – and the supplies coordinate perfectly with the Countryside Inn Suite Collection:
When I saw the floral images in the kit, my mind immediately wandered to the Vintage Bottle Punch, Iridescent Circle Shakers, and Vintage Bottle Domes. I had to give it a shot.
I punched a bottle shape butting up against the bottom of the stems (making sure not to cut into that pretty Night of Navy border on the white panel. I used a Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write Marker to extend the stems of the flowers down into the bottle shape that I punched out. I used a small blending brush and the Night of Navy ink to give that bottle shape a little blue tinge (like it was filled with water). I inserted a shaker dome into the cutout I made and filled with some Iridescent Shaker Circles. I adhered the bottle cutout to a piece of window sheet and then adhered that to the back of the white panel, lining it up with opening the punch made.
I affixed that whole panel to the card front using the Foam Strips included in the Paper Pumpkin Kit. I used a Night of Navy Stampin’ Write marker to fill in the ‘Thank you’ from the “Thank you for your hospitality” stamp. I stamped on the small white sentiment label, added a comma, and then stamped with the ‘Friend’ stamp.
I affixed this little sentiment to the bottle with a Mini Glue Dot and added 3 stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals to the right side of the label so that is rested even with the bottle:
And of course, I finished the card off with some of the included Night of Navy embellishment dots. (We need more Night of Navy embellishments – just saying).
Do you like it? I sure do – Shakers are always fun!
