Yesterday’s alternative did not use the Countryside Corner Dies (which really went so well with the kit):
But today’s alternative does use it!! But….to be different, I didn’t use anything from the Paper Pumpkin kit except the stamps, haha!
I used a Crumb Cake card base (5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ on the long side). I cut out a panel from the 6″ x 6″ Neutrals DSP (Crumb Cake) using the second largest die from the Countryside Corners dies. I cut a panel of Basic White using the third largest die from the set.
I stamped the flowery vine image from the Paper Pumpkin stamp set on this Basic White panel using Mossy Meadow ink.
On a scrap of Basic White, I used a small blending brush and lightly laid down some Copper Clay. I then stamped over that in Pebbled Path using the vase stamp from the kit (I stamped off once). I cut that shape out using the add-on Welcome Inn dies. Using those add-on dies, I also cut out a few leaves using Mossy Meadow cardstock. I stamped some of the flower images on a scrap of Basic White. I used Moody Mauve and stamped off here and there to get some different shading. I cut those out using the add-on dies.
I used Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots to adhere these cut out images to the first Basic White panel. I then affixed that to the Crumb Cake DSP panel – and that went on the card base:

Easy-peasy-ish! I really like how the Copper Clay color pops through the vase image.
Here are the extra products that I used with the Paper Pumpkin stamp set:
