Kit Kat Holder

What’s square, adorable, and has room for both a Kit Kat and a gift card? This treat holder!

This little treat holder is perfect for giving something sweet (aka Kit Kat) with a little extra (aka gift card, cashola, etc).

This design is based on something I found on Pinterest (don’t you love Pinterest?). A fellow demonstrator, In the Pink Designs by Cathryn, made an adorable holder like this. I slightly modified my dimensions – here original video can be found here.

I used a piece of cardstock measuring 10″ x 5 1/2″. Along the long side, I scored at 1 1/2″, 2″ 5 3/4″, and 6 1/4″. Along the short side, I scored at 1/2″, 1″, 4 1/2″, and 5″. Cathryn’s video will show you how to basically cut to assemble the box.

I was originally going to design a belly band – but after burning the score lines really well, I saw that the front flaps pretty much stayed closed – so I went with that.

The boxes I show here used some retired DSP – we all have retired DSP, don’t we?

I hope you liked this project – if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Have a happy, crafty day!
