May 2022 Paper Pumpkin Alternative

One of my favorite things about the new annual catalog release every year is seeing the new In Colors! They were great this year (and the year before, and the year before….)
May’s Paper Pumpkin kit spotlighted all of the colors – take a look:

I really did enjoy all the above designs but I thought I could make the Parakeet Party colored card just a little better. I took Tahitian Tide pieces and layered the cutouts from the kit. Then instead of the matte dots from the kit, I used those fantastic flower pieces (the Fun Flower Resin pieces from the Butterfly Kisses suite). Easy peasy!
These cards also came with gift card holders for the inside – which reminds me. It’s that time of year to get thank you gifts for all the great teachers my kiddos have. Do you give out thank yous at the end of the school year?

Have a great day – and I hope you get to do something crafty!

The Tahitian Tide really sets off your card. Wish I hadn’t already put mine together.
Thanks, Terry! I did think it needed just a little something extra – maybe make some more from ‘scratch. I saw someone online that used the piece that you punch the strips out of as a mask to make more – I think May’s kit is great!
