Frightfully Cute Ombre Gift Bag

The goodies you can fit in this bag!!

It’s almost time for Halloween treats!! The Ombre Gift Bags and the Frightfully Cute bundle make it easy to whip some up.

To make this treat bag, you’ll need:

  • An Ombre Gift Bag in Pale Papaya
  • Scraps of Basic Black, Basic White, and Pale Papaya card stock
  • 30″ of the Black Organdy Glitter Ribbon
  • Tuxedo Black Ink/Refill
  • Tools: Snips and Mini Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine
  • Adhesives: Mini Glue Dots
  • …and the Frightfully Cute bundle (stamps/dies)

To make this treat bag, follow these steps:

  • Cut a web (using die/machine) out of Basic Black card stock
  • Stamp sentiment on Pale Papaya card stock; cut out using die/machine – cut another label out using Basic Black cardstock. Cut Basic Black piece in half and trim – adhere to back of Pale Papaya piece using glue dots
  • Stamp spider and bats in Tuxedo Black on a Pale Papaya gift bag
  • Place a drop of the black ink refill on an acrylic block and spritz with water. I used a paint brush to pick up some color and flick all over the front of the bag.
  • Wrap ribbon around bag and tie a bow (I fixed the placement of the bow by using glue dots)
  • Adhere the web over the ribbon with a glue dot – trim any excess that may hang over the bag
  • Adhere sentiment in bottom left corner
