Peaceful Place Thank You

Embossed silver foil gives some shine

With all the excitement of Christmas subsiding, I almost thought about sitting down for a few minutes. I decided to whip up some thank you cards to express our appreciation for everyone’s generosity this season, instead.

Our plans changed by the minute but we were still able to have a great celebration – and the kids had a blast which is most important. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.

So while the kids straightened up their pile of new goodies in their playroom (okay the toddler doesn’t count – he just makes more of a mess), I snuck into my ‘playroom’ and made these cards.

I embossed some strips of silver foil with the snowflake folder in the Wintry 3D embossing set (1 1/2″ x 5 3/8″ – then cut in half to 3/4″ x 5 3/8″) and adhered them to a Basic Black card base ( 5 1/2″ x 8 /12″ – scored at 4 1/4″ on the long side). I took some Cherry Cobbler twine (retired) and wrapped it around a piece of the Peaceful Place DSP a few times and tied a bow. I adhered that panel to the card base using Dimensionals. I used an older Sale-A-Bration set (Label Me Bold) for the Thank you – I stamped in Cherry Cobbler and cut out – I used Mini Dimensionals to adhere that.

Pretty easy – right? I used some of my older products on this card; can’t ignore those!

Again, I hope you had a great holiday – and here is to a new year!

Happy crafting!
