Gingerbread and Peppermint Memories & More Card Pack

One- two- three! An easy card made using

Something I almost always overlook in Stampin’ Up! catalogs are the Memories & More card packs. Why? I don’t scrapbook and for some reason, I have it stuck in my head that you can only use the contents for making scrapbook pages.

Well, I’m here to tell you (and hopefully myself) that this simply isn’t the case. These packs come with a lot – precut panels you can use on cards fronts, sticker pages, die cuts – they really are great.

I made the above card with the help of some coordinating DSP and thecards/envelope pack. I found a piece of DSP with those cute cookie trees and fussy cut them – then I cut a small strip of DSP(1/2″ x 6″ that had those cute candy shapes). I adhered the strip and two trees with Stampin’ Seal to the card front and popped one up using Dimensionals. I took a sentiment sticker from the pack and adhered that up in the right hand corner and then put three rhinestones along the bottom left of the main design.

Easy, right? I had the opportunity to make this card and that retreat I mentioned last week. I never really have the time to just sit and play – my kids are always on the go. Well, at the retreat, I was able (sans-kids) to sit and just piece things together as I went along. How fun!!

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at my projects. I’d love to see yours so feel free to drop them in the comments.
