Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Christmas in July!! I’ve gotten a look at the new August to December catalog and am patiently waiting for my pre-order to arrive. What better way to prepare than to start creating using what you’ve got already.

The cards above are made with the retired Most Wonderful Time Product Medley – which is still currently available and on clearance (for $42!!). This is a steal for anyone who wants to jump into your holiday card/tag making during what is turning out to be one brutally hot summer so far.

The collection comes with a photopolymer stamp set, the coordinating dies, a generous 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper pack (beautiful!), sticker sheets, self-adhesive star embellishments, and gold ribbon. Add some ink and paper and you’re pretty much set.

I made the ‘Deck the Halls’ cards following a One Sheet Wonder I found on Pinterest here. I tried my hand at creating my own One Sheet Wonder with the card below:

I took one sheet of 6″x6″ and cut into 3″ x 6″ pieces – then cut into a 3″x1″, 3″x0.75″, and 3″x 0.5″ – I took a 6.5″x6.75″ piece of Mossy Meadow and basically did the same but bumping up by 0.25″ (3.25″x1.25″, 3.25″x1″, 3.25″x0.75″) for the mat pieces. I adhered those to a Basic White base with glue. I stamped the large tree onto Old Olive cardstock in Old Olive ink, cut out with the coordinating die, and affixed to the card with Dimensionals. I finished this simple card off with the ‘O Christmas Tree’ sentiment in Tuxedo Black.

I also made some quick tags up with the Fancy Tag Topper punch:

This product medley is a great bargain for what you get – you can click on the link below to buy at my online shop:
