Light the Candles Kit (and Alternative)

The two designs of cards in the Light the Candle kit

I got my Light the Candles card kit in – and what a breeze to quickly make 8 birthday cards (two each of the designs above). It’s hard to make out in the picture but there is a great dimension to these cards and some extra birthday sparkle.

I originally posted about these here and mentioned that the stamp set that comes with this all-inclusive kit could pair up with some extra supplies to help you extend your card stash. Well, I paired that stamp set up with those extra supplies and quickly made this card:

Even more birthday fun!

I took the larger card from the Memories and More Card pack, 4 strips of 1″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper in the Sunshine and Rainbows DSP pack (Sale-A-Bration item), and Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green ink spots from the Classic Inkspot assortment. I spaced the DSP evenly on the front and stamped in between. I used the fourth strip of DSP to perk up the envelope (I glued it down the side, vertically.)

Here is that list of supplies again:

Product List

I can’t wait to make some more birthday cards with this group of products.

Remember, Sale-A-Bration is going on for January and February. For every 60 dollars spent (before shipping and taxes), you are entitled to free products from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. So exciting!! Joining Stampin Up! now (if interested) has a some great options of product in addition to your starter kit! Woo hoo! Click that link to take a peek!
