Warm Welcome Baby Card
One more card using the Warm Welcome bundle this week. What is more warmly welcomed than a new baby?
I used Tahitian Tide as the main color of this card – it could easily be switched out with any other of Stampin’ Up!’s great colors.
My card base is a piece of Tahitian Tide cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ (scored at 4 1/4″ on the long side. I stamped the heart images in Tahitian Tide along the top and bottom borders of the card base.
I adhered a piece of Tahitian Tide Glimmer Paper (3″ x 5 1/2″) to the center of the card base. I stamped my sentiments and images on a piece of Basic White card stock which I then cut out using a die from the Warm Welcome bundle. I colored in the shoes using Stampin’ Blends and then stamped some more hearts around this piece (full strength, then off once, off twice). I took 3 pieces of Tahitian Tide DSP (1/2″ x 5″) and notched out banners on either end. I adhered these to the center of the card and curled their ends up a bit for fun. I then added the sentiment piece using Dimensionals.
I think it came out really cute. This definitely lends itself to a baby boy – what color would you use for a little girl? Sweet Sorbet?
