Peaceful Cabin Card

Neutral colors make this scene even more peaceful

Maybe this scene takes place just after a snowstorm – I went with black, grays, and other neutrals to make a calm winter scene.

The Peaceful Place Specialty Designer Series Paper brings a nice shimmer to the background – I used a few of the Subtle Shimmer Sequins for a few more areas of sparkle.

I layered a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of that DSP on top of a Smoky Slate card base (4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″). I stamped and die cut the cabin and trees and positioned on top of that – I used Dimensionals to add some depth. I stamped the sentiment and cut/layered on top of a piece of Smoky Slate and adhere to the top corner with Dimensionals. Then I finished the card off with some of those sequins – there are nice silver ones and well as muted white in the selection.
