I’ve been focusing so much on the wonderful new Christmas sets available in the new Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog that I’ve been neglecting the super cute Halloween collection available. This adorable set is aptly named…..Cute Halloween Suite Collection. And it’s Friday the 13th – so there’s that.
The stamp set comes with a punch to make quick cuts for most of the images in the set. There is some very versatile gingham ribbon, star sequins, sweet designer series paper, and my favorite part……the tombstone treat boxes!!!
I love handing out candy filled treats – to my son’s classmates, to my co-workers, to my co-workers’ kids. It helps bring a smile to their faces and it’s a great excuse to keep the amount of chocolate I have in the house (shhhh).
These treat boxes are pretty much ready to go. You can assemble it in less than 20 seconds thanks to the four adhesive strips in place. All you have to do is tear the backing off and press into place.
I chose to cut a window out of the front of my box using a die from the Frightful Tags die set – so you can get a sneak peak of the goodies you’re getting and an inkling of the surprise inside.
What surprise awaits….

Three cutie pie ghosts pop up to guard the DSP wrapped Hershey Nuggets I’ve place inside – I don’t think they’re too menacing, do you? I got them to pop up by using our window sheets. I took 3 pieces of window sheets – 1/2″ x 3 1/2″, 1/2″ x 4″, and 1/2″ x 5″ and bent them in half. I secured one flat edge of each to the bottom treat box with Tear & Tape adhesive. Then I used some more bits of Tear & Tape to secure my little ghostly guardians to the top part of the window sheet strips. Simply fold them down as you close the tombstone box and they’ll pop up each time you open it – BOO!!
Here’s a shot from the top showing off the DSP:

These would be great as favors for any spook-tacular get togethers you may have planned for the fall –
