Phrases for All Congrats Card

I used the new Phrases for All stamp set and the Patchwork Pieces dies to make this monochromatic congrats card.

To make this project, you’ll need the following supplies:

• Cardstock/Paper: Basic Black (4 ¼” x 11”, scored at 5 ½”; 3 3/4” x 5”); Basic White (2 pieces at 4” x 5 ¼”; 2” x 4”, 3 ½” x 5”) Smoky Slate (3 ½” x 5”), Basic Grey (3 ½” x 5”); More Dazzle paper (2 ½” x 6”)
• Ink: Memento in Tuxedo Black
• Basic Tools: Snips, Trimmer, Adhesives (Glue, Glue Dots, Dimensionals)
• Additional Tools/Supplies: Sparkle Gems
• Stamps/Dies: Phrases for All stamp set; Nested Essentials dies; Patchwork Pieces dies; Basic Borders dies

To make this project, follow these steps:

• Die cut the 3 ½” x 5” pieces of Basic White, Smoky Slate, and Basic Grey using the ‘starburst’ die from the Patchwork Pieces die set. You’ll produce enough pieces to make 3 cards.
• Arrange desired pieces (I alternated colors in a repeating pattern – see video for some tips on dealing with all the pieces) on the 3 ¾” x 5” piece of Basic Black. Once satisfied with the placement, glue the pieces down. Liquid glue works best here.
• Cut out the More Dazzle paper using the ‘zig-zag’ die from the Basic Borders dies. Glue to the top of the Basic Black panel and trim the sides.
• Adhere this black panel to one of the Basic White panels. Glue this combination to the Basic Black card base. (Adhere the other Basic White panel to the inside as your sentiment panel.)
• Finish the card off with some Sparkle Gems
