A Sweet Way to Share Halloween Treats

When Halloween rolls around, I love finding simple ways to make small treats feel extra special. The best part? It doesn’t take much!

For this project, I paired a simple treat box with a handmade tag featuring spider webs, a friendly little ghost, and colorful “Trick or Treat” pieces. Adding a black ribbon at the top finishes it off and makes the tag easy to remove before opening the box.

I embossed some Two-Tone Basic Gray paper and sanded it a bit before adhering to those cute gable boxes in the suite. I cut a tag, ink blended and stamped it and finished it with some fun colored words.

What I love most is that this idea is so versatile. Fill the box with candy, cookies, hot cocoa packets, or even a small gift card for teachers, neighbors, coworkers, or friends.

Handmade packaging turns an everyday treat into something people will remember—and it only takes a few extra minutes!
