Sweet Jar Card

Another set that I purchased immediately upon release and then…didn’t use it! Why, I can’t tell you because it’s super cut. The Sweet Jar stamp set and matching jar punch. I even bought the Christmas stamp set that goes with the punch (I used that).

A collection of black and white stamp designs including a jar, various candies, flowers, hearts, candles, and phrases like 'happy birthday' and 'miss you bunches'.

Look at those images – hearts, shamrocks, cookies, and candles. You can use this bundle for some much. Here is the card I made:

A handmade card featuring a jar with hearts, the phrase 'sending a little love your way,' and decorative embellishments, laid on a textured pink background with a stamp set from the Sweet Jar collection in the background.

I used a Pretty in Pink card base (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″). I then cut a piece of DSP down to 3 3/4″ x 5″. I made a tick marks as shown below and cut:

Then on the diagonal cut, I marked at 2 1/4″ and cut down to the right bottom corner.

I repeated the process using a piece of cardstock cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″. Instead of 1″, I marked 1 1/8″ in from the upper right and up from the bottom left. After cutting, I made a mark at 2 3/8″ and cut down.

This makes a perfect mat for your DSP. I hope you give this cut a try – It’s fun!
