Turtle-y Awesome Friend Card

I used that Turtle-y Cute Suite Collection and the Around It All Dies to make this sweet encouragement card.

I used a Cherry Cobbler card base ( 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″). I took a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Crumb Cake and glued some circles I cut from Shaded Spruce, Garden Green, and Granny Apple Green card stock. I used the Around It All Dies to make those circles. Once I had my circles glued down, I dry embossed the panel using the Turtle Textures Embossing Folder. I really do dig the pattern this folder makes – how about you?

I fussy cut Mr. Cool Gardner Turtle from the Designer Series Paper and the flower he’s watering. I stamped my sentiment on a piece of Basic White paper and cut it out using a banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies. I cut a smaller banner from a piece of Darling Duckling card stock, snipped it in half and glued it to the back of the sentiment banner so that is appeared longer than it is – woo hoo! I finished the card off with a few of those awesome embellishments that are included in the suite.
