She’s the Greatest Card

Do you have a favorite new In Color yet? It’s tough, right? This card uses the She’s the Greatest Photopolymer stamp set and 3 of the new colors.

The card base is Strawberry Slush (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″). The Cloud Cover layer is cut from a piece of the Designer Series Paper pack. I cut that down to 5 1/4″ x 4″. I stamped ‘Mom’ in Secret Sea in a staggered pattern all over that Cloud Cover panel. I stamped 3 times each so that I’d have varying degrees of color.

I used some lengths of Strawberry Slush and Cloud Cover Faux Linen Ribbon and added them to the DSP panel. I then stamped my sentiment in Strawberry Slush on a piece of Basic White and cut this out with the long banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies. I then cut out the next biggest banner from a piece of Strawberry Slush paper. I adhered the white banner to the Strawberry Slush banner and affixed this to the card front using Dimensionals. A few flat In Color pearls finished the card front off.

For the inside, I stamped my sentiment in Secret Sea on a piece of Basic White cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″. I took the small strip of 4″ DSP I have left over from the front panel and adhered that to the bottom of the white piece:

And just to make sure that my whole piece of 6″ x 6″ DSP was used, I took the remaining 2″ x 6″ piece and cut a nice pattern out using the Fancy Border dies. I glued this to the envelope flap:

I hope you like it – I know I always love using a whole piece of paper instead of having scraps laying around.
