I had so much fun using the red Pearlized Enamel Effects that I just had to try it again. This time I used the Joy of Noel bundle and Joy to Christmas DSP for a somewhat quick but what I think to be “wow”er of a card!
The stamp set basically tells you to get your coloring tools out so that is indeed just what I did:
On a Thick Basic White card base, I stamped the larger leafed image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then colored the image in using the Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Combo. Instead of using my Cherry Cobbler Blends for the berries, I used the Pearlized Enamel Effects in Red:
I then cut out a square of Shaded Spruce card stock using the 2nd largest square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I cut out a piece of the Joy of Christmas DSP using that same square die but then used the “NOEL” die from the bundle. I adhered the DSP to the Shaded Spruce square using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. I looped an 8″ piece of Gold Trim and adhered that to the back of the square panel using Tear & Tape. I then glued the square down to the card front.
I love this – it was pretty simple and I think it looks great!
Here are the products that I used to make this card:
