Construction Zone Birthday Card

Here’s a cute little card for Friday – I used some bright colors and the Construction Zone Cling Stamp Set.

To make this project, you’ll need the following supplies:

  • Cardstock/Paper: Thick Basic White (5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” on the long side), Real Red (4 1/8” x 5 3/8”), Azure Afternoon (4” x 5 ¼”, and a scrap), Basic White (3 ¾” x 5”, and a scrap)
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie
  • Basic Tools: Snips, Trimmer, Adhesives (Glue, Glue Dots, Dimensionals)
  • Additional Tools/Supplies: Stampin’ Blends in Azure Afternoon, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, and Daffodil Delight; Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine
  • Stamps/Dies: Construction Zone stamp set and Nested Essential Dies

To make this project, follow these steps:

  • Stamp “Birthday Zone” in Real Red ink onto a scrap of Basic White and cut out using one of the banner dies from the Nested Essentials Dies. Cut out a banner from the scrap of Azure Afternoon using the next largest banner die from the set.
  • Adhere the white banner to the blue banner using glue or adhesive of choice. Mount this piece in the upper right corner of the Basic White panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Stamp the forklift, workman, and balloons towards the lower center of the white panel using Memento Tuxedo Black. Color the images as desired using Stampin’ Blends.
  • Stamp some of the constructions cones and background images as shown – I used Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight.
  • Adhere the Basic White panel to the Azure Afternoon panel. Adhere this group to the Real Red panel. Finish the card off by adhering this grouping to the card base.

Here are the products that I used for this card:
