Flowers & More Birthday Card

Here is a card we made at my Stamp-A-Stack on February 18th – quick and fun! I chose the Flowers & More Host Designer Series Paper to make these cards really bold and bright.
The card consists of a card base (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ on the long side), 1 layer of colored cardstock (4″ x 5 1/4″) and 4 rectangles of Designer Series Paper (1 7/8″ x 2 1/2″ each). Because we were making 2 of each card design at this event, I switched the colors up for each. On one card, I used a Tahitian Tide card base with a Parakeet Party layer. On the other, I used Orchid Oasis for the card base and Polished Pink for the card stock layer.
I punched a label out of the Pale Papaya after I stamped the sentiment from Framed Florets in Starry Sky. I affixed this piece to the center of the card front using Dimensionals and then used a glue dot to affix a baker’s twine bow.
You can use this layout with almost any DSP, color scheme, sentiment. . . .you get the picture, right? What different papers would you use? Let me know in the comments.
Thanks for checking this card out – I make a quick video to go over the process:
