Valentine’s Day – a day to tell someone you love them, a day to sneak a message to a secret crush, a day to wear silly light-up heart earrings and red sweater vests.
However you celebrate it – is it really complete without a little candy?? I will find any reason to give out some yummy treats and Valentine’s Day is a great reason.
I mixed up some ‘old’ and ‘new’ in these projects. The base treat box was created using various Designer Series Paper and the Perfect Parcel dies. These dies make it a snap to create a pretty decent sized box to store lots of goodies in – gift cards, money….candy…… They measure roughly 2″ across, 3 1/2″ long, and 1 1/2″ deep. These little boxes hold a lot – and can really be dressed up in any way.

You need two pieces of DSP (4″ x 6″) for the box (you can get 3 boxes out of a 12″x12″ piece of DSP!!) The belly band is 8″ long and can be made however wide you’d like – I used 1 1/2″ here – scores at 1 1/4″, 2 5/8″, 4 7/8″ and 6 1/4″.
See below for the products I used in these projects and contact me for more info –

Love the boxes Jen I may try them too!!!
Thanks, Cecily! I had to have those dues when they came out – would you believe this was the first time I used them?? (The Paper Pixie has a great tutorial on how to put them together)
