Merry & Bright Pop Up Gift Card Holder
This seems like a pretty basic card – but it has a great surprise on the inside – a pop-up gift card holder that looks like a gift box!
I made one of these last year but I used a larger size card and it opened up in the other direction. I made this pop-up centered in the middle of a card base that measures 4 1/4″ x 11″ (scored at 5 1/2″). The inner piece that holds the card is 3/4″ x 6″, scored at 1/2″ at either end.
The important part of this card is that pop-up gift box. It’s made from a piece of Designer Series Paper cut at 8 1/2″ x 5″. On the 5″ side, I scored at 1″ and 3″. On the 8 1/2″ side, I scored at 2″, 4″, 6″, and 8″.
