A Little Stamp-a-Stack Inspiration
There’s something I really love about a Stamp-a-Stack – and that’s why I chose that as one of the projects we’d be making at my Creatively Connected with CardNMum retreat this past weekend.
You get to sit down, play with pretty paper and make a bunch of cards at once—but that doesn’t mean every card has to look exactly the same!
For this Stamp-a-Stack, I wanted to create a collection of cards that coordinated beautifully while still giving each card its own personality.
I started with coordinating patterned paper and then played with different ways to use it on each card – honestly, my inspiration was something I saw by Jacque Williams (take a peek here). I switched it up a bit by adding another layer – and voila!
If you’re someone who likes to have handmade cards ready to go, a Stamp-a-Stack is a great way to build your stash.
Instead of making one card and putting everything away, you can keep your supplies out and create several cards in one crafting session.
Birthday cards, thinking-of-you cards, thank you cards, thinking of you cards – you name it!
And because these designs coordinate, they’re also a great way to use up that pile of Designer Series Paper that I know is peeking at you from the corner of your craft area.
