Sweet Jar Birthday Card

Who needs a birthday card? Here’s a cute one to make using Last Chance products from the On the Go Suite Collection:

The measurements for the paper are:

  • Pretty in Pink card base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • On the Go Designer Series Paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Strips of Strawberry Slush, Shy Shamrock, and Summer Splash: 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ (a few of each color)
  • Basic White: scrap for jar and sentiment on front of card, 4″ x 5 1/4″ for the inside writing panel

Adhere two strips of cardstock (colors are your choice) diagonally on the front of the DSP panel – they can butt up against each other but should not go all the way to the end. This will allow a space to adhere other strips at a right angle. Use glue so you have some wiggle room. Trim the parts of the cardstock that extend past the edges of the DSP and adhere to the card front. Stamp and punch the jar andthe topper. Adhere to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp the sentiment and notch a flag. Adhere that to the card front and tie a bow using the twine for decoration. Glue dots work best for ribbon and twine, in my opinion.

These are easy to make and fun to do in an assembly line – here are the products that I used:
