Puzzle Piece Christmas Tree Card

I came across this fun fold in my paper-crafting travels and just knew that I had to share it with you!

It’s called the Puzzle Piece fold – take a look. Here it is closed:

A handmade card featuring a Puzzle Piece fold with a rustic wood background, adorned with a stamped Christmas tree, a star, and orange embellishments, along with the text 'O Christmas Tree.'

And here it is open:

Isn’t it fun?! I have a video that goes through how to put it together but here are the important measurements:

  • Card base: 4 1/4″ x 11″, with the long edge at the top of your trimmer, score at 1 3/8″ and 2 3/4″. Flip it over and score at 1 3/8″ and 2 3/4″
  • Writing panel for the inside: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Cardstock: start with a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece; with the short end at the top, cut down the middle at 2 1/8″; cut each piece at 3 1/8″
  • Designer Series Paper: start with a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece; with the short end at the top, cut down the middle at 2″; cut ‘top’ piece at 3″, but ‘bottom’ piece at 2 1/4″ (see video for why)

I used the new Pine Tree Trimmings bundle – so cute!

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at my projects. I’d love to see yours so feel free to drop them in the comments.
