Boho Vibes Fun Fold Card

Here is a second card made using the Boho Vibes Suite Collection. I love the 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper. The patterns are bold and fun and the colors are great. The pieces with the large rainbow patterns were my inspiration for this card, but seriously, all the pieces are nice:

So what’s the fun fold, Jen? It’s like a rainbow-filled gatefold:

I used two standard card bases ( 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″) and glued them together to create the gate. I did trim a smidge off of the right side so that the card had room to open and close easily.

I then took two pieces of the DSP that had the larger rainbow patterns (one arching to the right and one to the left) and fussy cut them out. With pencil, I lightly traced the arches onto each card front flap (did that make sense) and cut that out. I then adhere the DSP pieces to the flaps.

For the inside of the card, I cut another rainbow image out, this one Petal Pink, and adhered it to a piece of Basic White (4″ x 5 1/4″) used as the writing panel. I made sure that is peeked over the top of the two other rainbow arches.

I used the Modern Oval punch for my sentiment on the front, offsetting a DSP oval behind it. I adhered it to the left flap with Dimensionals taking care not to adhere onto the right flap.
