Corner in Bloom Just a Note Card

This card, using the combination of the Corner in Bloom and Simply Said stamp sets, might just be my favorite. It also used two techniques I usually do not use – watercolor pencil coloring and fussy cutting.

I used the largest floral corner image from the set and stamped that to make a rectangle. I went to work using watercolor pencils to makes those flowers even more beautiful. I evened out the coloring using my blender pens. I stamped my sentiment in the center of the frame I made and then got to work fussy cutting the image.

I simply mounted this beautiful panel onto a Melon Mambo card base (5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″).
