Sweetest Star Pop Up Card

I adore the new Sweetest Star stamp/punch set (available 9/4/2024)– it’s just too cute. When I was designing this card for my New Catty Stamp Class, I couldn’t decide which image to use. I settled on Santa. But they are all so cute – take a look:

Here are the measurements of the paper you’ll need to make this card:
Garden Green: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” on the long side
Basic White: 4” x 4” and ½” x 4”
Crumb Cake: 3 7/8” x 3 7/8”, scraps (at least ¼” x 3”)
Cherry Cobbler: 4 1/8” x 5/8”
I always try to get the most out of my paper so I stamped my image on the 4” x 4” square of Basic White and punched it out. I can cover it with my Crumb Cake layer and no one will be the wiser. I stamped my snowflake images around the border of the Crumb Cake in the same color ink.
I used Stampin’ Blends to color Santa – Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Ivory and Petal Pink. I made my own ‘spring’ out two strips of paper – watch how below:
Basically, you attach to pieces of cardstock at a 90 degree angle and fold over each other a few times – voila!

I hope you like this card and techniques I used to make it! Which image would you use?
