Iconic Imagery Peace & Joy Card

My last card using this collection used more of the traditional Christmas colors – this one uses some more non-traditional colors. I used Misty Moonlight and Moody Mauve for this one.
My card base is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ (scored at 4 1/4″ on the long side) and is Misty Moonlight. I then layered a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White. Before I adhered it to the card base, however, I had to jazz it up a bit. I stamped the snowflake image in Versamark ink and covered in clear embossing powder. I heat set it and then used my Blending Brushes and some Misty Moonlight ink to lay down some color.
I stamped my sentiments in Moody Mauve on scraps of Basic White (I started with pieces that were at least a 1/2″ tall and trimmed down on either side of the stamped words). I cut similar sized scraps of Silver foil and affixed the sentiments atop them, off-centered a bit. I finished the card with some of the clear embellishments from the collection.
