Bee My Valentine Sweet As Honey Card
Bzzzzzz……these bees are adorable!!!!
Here’s another card I made using products from the Bee Mine Suite Collection from Stampin’ Up!
Here are the measurements –
- Petal Pink card base: 11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″ on the long side
- Daffodil Delight: 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″; scrap for the bee
- Bee Mine Designer Series Paper: 1 piece cut at 1 1/4″ x 5 3/8″, 2 pieces cut at 1 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
- Sweet Sorbet: scrap at least 1/2″ x 4 1/2″
- Basic White: scrap at least 1/2″ x 4 1/2″, inside panel (4″ x 5 1/4″)
- Vellum: scraps for wings and antennae
I stamped the honey comb image in Versamark on the large Daffodil Delight panel. I then covered the images in clear embossing powder and set with my Heat Tool. Keep that Heat Tool out – you can use it to dry the wings and antennae that you stamp in Tuxedo Black on the vellum scraps (that takes a bit of time to dry on its own).
I stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet on a scrap of Basic White and then cut the ends of that scrap on an angle. I did the same with a scrap of Sweet Sorbet cut to the same size to give the sentiment a cute little banner effect.
I hope you enjoyed this project – I can’t wait to craft some more with this set. Is it on your list?
Here are all the products that I used to make this sweet card:
