Continuing our Boho Blue theme this week, I created a card using a stamp/die set that was carrying over. Here are the Artistically Inked stamp set and Artistic dies. I remember when this set first came – the accompanying DSP was gorgeous!!!
I added some complementary blues to Boho Blue so it didn’t get lonely on this card. Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue helped on the background piece of Basic White (3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″). I stamped the background in different colors starting at the top and worked my way down. I then used a Blending Brush and ‘filled in’ with Boho Blue.
I adhered that to a piece of DSP cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ – and this panel went on top of a Boho Blue card base cut at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ (scored at 4 1/4″). I cut out that detailed floral piece out of a 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ piece of Misty Moonlight and adhered to the bottom left corner of the card. I then stamped my sentiment in Boho Blue and cut closely to the letters. I placed this on a scrap of Night of Navy and trimmed to create a border. This went in the upper right hand corner of the card with Dimensionals.
