Good Feelings Book Binding Fun Fold Card

I had my Fun Fold Stamp Camp this past weekend – I’ll be posting the projects that we made.

I also decided to highlight some of the colors that are leaving on come May. Color refreshes are fun (and I certainly love all the new colors) but I am sad to see a few go.

Back to the card – this one is a “book binding” fun fold. I’ve done another one like this is the past (click here to check it out). It’s pretty straight forward but I think it looks awesome.

Start with a card base cut to 4 1/4″ x 11″. Score this along the 11″ side at 4 1/2″ and 5 1/2″. Fold in half at the 5 1/2″ score mark (like you would for a regular card). Then bend backwards at the 4 1/2″ score mark. Using Tear & Tape (or your adhesive of choice), secure that 1″ portion shut on the inside of the card. Then decorate away!

On the front of this card, I used the Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper in the Bermuda Bay color. Use a 3/4″ x 4″ for the 1″ section and use a 4 1/4″ x 4″ piece for the larger part of the card front. I used a 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ piece of Basic White and 3″ x 3″ piece of Mint Macaron for the sentiment piece. I stamped in Versamark, covered in white embossing powder, and heat set with a heat tool. The writing panel on the inside is a piece of Basic White cut to 4 1/4″ x 4″.

Pretty simple, right? Are you going to miss these colors? Let me know in the comments.

Here is a list of the products that I used:
