Inspired Thoughts Masculine Congratulations Card
Happy Monday! This week, I’ll be using the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set. It’s a great collection of sentiments (including longer phrases to use on the insides of your card – love that!). Take a look:
I went with a masculine look on this card with the background stamp, Stacked Stone.
To make this card, you’ll need a Thick Basic White card base (4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″), a Crumb Cake layer (4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″), and some scraps of Basic White and Early Espresso. The inks you’ll need are Soft Suede and Early Espresso. I used the Pick a Banner Punch, Rustic Metallic elements, and Essential Baker’s Twine.
I used my Stamparatus to stamp the Stacked Stone image on my Crumb Cake layer in Soft Suede. I then used a blending brush to add some more Soft Suede to that image. I adhered the Crumb Cake layer to the card base.
I stamped the sentiment on a 1/2″ wide scrap of Basic White using Early Espresso ink and cropped each end using the Pick a Banner Punch. I then cropped each end a 3/4″ wide scrap of Early Espresso. I adhered the sentiment to the Early Espresso banner. I placed some Seal on the back of this banner and looped some Baker’s Twine to it. I mounted this piece to the card front using Dimensionals. To finish it off, I added a few metallic elements.
Super easy and who doesn’t need some more masculine cards in their stash? (Guilty as charged over here – haha)
