August 2022 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives (#2)

A close up of one of the 4 alternatives I made from one card base

Yes, August 2022 is the Paper Pumpkin kit that just keeps giving. The envelopes are pretty, the card bases are pretty – you really have to use it all!

One of the card bases raised it’s hand and told me that it wanted to be put to another use – so I obliged:

Together
Apart

I took one of these beautiful card bases and cut it into four – along the crease (4 1/4″) and then those pieces in half at 2 3/4″. Now I had some pieces to work with.

Here are the four cards I made – they all used the same basic design:

I used a card base of Basic White – 4 1/4″ by 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ along the long side and a matte of 3″ x 4 1/2″ of Blackberry Bliss card stock. I stamped the sentiment of Thank You in Blackberry Bliss ink on Basic White cardstock and cut those out using my favorite little banner from the Stylish Shapes dies.

Then is was just a matter of modifying each one a little (but I do love all of the designs). I added a linen thread bow to one. I added Solid Faceted Gems to another. I stamped a background of flowers and leaves on a third. I used the free gifted honeycomb piece as a mask to make a cool background on the fourth.

Do you like them? You can make them, too! Get in on the monthly subscription kit that will show you just how creative you can get. Getting a three-month prepaid subscription before the end of August will not only help you get ready for the holidays with these kits (September, October, and November):

Holidays here I come!

But it will also get you a free Sale-A-Bration item – contact me for more details.
