We Stampin’ Up! demonstrators saw the Nests of Winter Suite Collection during the Creativity Now event in June (I love sneak peeks!) We made a few projects using these products and it was a lot of fun. This suite became available to everyone when the new mini catalog launched at the beginning of September –…
On Wednesday, I used a technique called the ‘tile’ technique. Today, I am almost literally making tiles out of a square of embossed Old Olive card stock. I took a 3” x 3” piece and ran it through the Painted Trees Embossing Folder. I then carefully cut this piece into 9 one-inch squares. I placed…
I shared a technique that I’ve wanted to try on Monday – you can see that card here. Today, I’m sharing another – the ‘Tile’ technique. (I’m pretty sure that is what it’s called.) It consists of scored a piece of card stock and then stamping over those scores lines so it resembles a tiled…
I have always wanted to try this technique – and like so many techniques that catch my eye, I ignored it for a while. I gave it a try using the stamp sets from the Season of Elegance Suite Collection; Peaceful Evergreens (a gorgeous set of images) and Peaceful Season (sentiments to help celebrate the…
Who doesn’t love a shaker card? I haven’t met anyone that has admitted it – haha! I made this card using the Snowy Scenes Suite Collection. The dies from this set will help you cut out shapes to make snow globes – and they coordinate great with the DSP from the Suite. I started this…
Rectangles, patterns, circles, and banners – a quick layout that you can use to whip up a card. Here is one that I made using the Playful Ghosts stamp set.
Here is another project I made using the Snowy Scenes Suite Collection. I really like Poppy Parade and Petal Pink together. Here are the measurements of the paper: I adhered the larger paper panels slightly askew on the card base. I then cut out some shapes from Basic White and Poppy Parade using the Countryside…
This week, I used the Snowy Scenes Suite Collection for my projects. Here is my first entry – a cute little gift card holder tag. Before I go into the details, check out this collection – talk about a winter wonderland: I cut out two holders for the gift card holder using the middle die…
We made this card at my August stamp class. We used products from the Reindeer Days Suite Collection. (It’s currently unavailable but mark your calendars for next Monday, 9/16, when it will be back in stock.) Here is the suite: I love how the die cut leaves a window that you add your deer in…
The August 2024 Pumpkin Paper was really run to put together (and it was all birthday cards – which I always need!) Take a look at them: They are certainly gorgeous – those colors are great. Here is an alternative I made using the extra pieces I had left over –
