Clean and Simple Heart Card | Sending Smiles Card Idea
This clean and simple handmade card is a great example of how minimal design can still feel warm and meaningful. Using heart elements, soft textures, and a neutral color palette, this card is perfect for a variety of occasions. If you’re looking for easy card making ideas, this layout is both beginner-friendly and elegant.
Can you guess which stamp set and die set I used to make this card? (Hint: they are two different ones)

Card Design Details
This design focuses on clean lines and texture while adding just enough detail to keep it interesting.
- Background: A crisp white card base with subtle embossed lines creates a nice backdrop – let’s hear it for the Stampin’ Scoreboard!
- Tag Elements: Three small tags are layered across the top, each featuring a circular element with a heart cutout.
- Texture Play: The mix of smooth cardstock, slightly distressed inner heart detail, and soft twine adds dimension without bulk.
- Twine Accent: Navy twine tied into bows adds contrast and a handmade, cozy feel.
- Sentiment: “Sending Smiles” is stamped in a coordinating tone for a clean, centered finish.
I also added my own element of surprise with a Night of Navy fingerprint on the front – argh! I think this layout is so easy and is great inspiration for batch cardmaking – what do you think?
