Gingerbread Man Fun Fold

Let’s wrap up our Gingerbread Man Bundle week with a quick fun fold! I’ve done this one before and it’s super easy.

Start with a card base that is 4 1/4″x 11″ and score at 5 1/2″ on the long side. Insert the card base into your trimming tool with the 4 1/4″ side at the top. Move the edge over to 1″ and cut down to 5 1/2″ (the score line you made). Flip the card horizontally (4 1/4″ side is still at the top) and repeat this cut on the other side.

Fold your two 1″ pieces down (like you are closing the card) and leave the middle piece sticking out. Insert into your trimmer and score at 2 3/4″.

Glue the two 1″ pieces down. I decorated the these with a mat of 1″ x 4″ (Shaded Spruce) and 7/8″ x 3 7/8″ piece of Basic White I stamped a pattern on in Real Red. The bottom portions I stamped gumdrops in a variety of colors.

I stamped my cookie outline in Versamark on a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock and heat set after applying some white embossing powder. I fussy cut that cookie out and after stamping gumdrops and patterns on the middle portion of the card front, I adhered the piece to the bottom half of that panel. I did this so that when you pop him open his sticks up. I cut out a candy piece to adhere to the inside using a double layer of Dimensionals to help prop open the card.

I decorated the cookie with some lollipops and a sentiment. I hope you like him!
