Metallic Textures Card

With the fun of a new pre-order for the September Mini Catalog tempting me, I decided that this week, I am going to use the items I have purchased and have yet to use. Do you have any of those?

I chose the Metallic Textures Rub-Ons – the pack contains 8 sheets, 4 designs (2 pages of gold and 2 of silver for each):

Four sheets of Metallic Textures Rub-Ons featuring silver designs on the top two sheets and gold designs on the bottom two sheets, displaying various patterns and textures.

They are so much fun to use – and super simple! You cut out the design or designs you want, peel the backing, place down on your cardstock and apply pressure. I used my finger but you could use your bone folder, too. Here is the card I made:

A handmade greeting card featuring a dark purple centerpiece with embossed text 'WISHING YOU & YOURS ALL THE BEST', surrounded by a textured teal border and decorative elements. In the background, there are several sheets of metallic rub-ons and gems.

My card base is Pretty Peacock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. I cut a 3″ x 4″ piece of Lost Lagoon Two-Tone card stock, ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Plaster 3D Embossing Folder and sanded the surface lightly. I then distressed a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock (2″ x 4″). I heat embossed a sentiment in the lower right corner of that piece. I then used a silver rub-on in the upper left corner. I finished the card off with some beautiful Two Tone Sparkle Gems.

Here are the products that I used to make this card:
