Kintsugi Inspirations Suite Collection Thank You Card

I am continuing on using the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite Collection – here is a thank you card I made:

A thank you card with an embossed teal cover and floral design, placed on a background featuring a stamp set named 'Inspiring Imperfections'.

I used a bit of paper from that gorgeous DSP pack but I let the Joined Together embossing folder do the work on this one:

An embossing folder with a detailed floral and geometric design, displayed with a sheet of embossed gray paper.

I started with a card base of Thick Basic White (5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4). I embossed a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Lost Lagoon with this beautiful embossing folder. I then went over the texture with a blending brush and craft white ink to give it a little bit of an ‘aged’ look. I adhered that panel to the card front.

I then adhere two strips of DSP (1″ x 4 1/4″) overlapping on the card front using liquid glue. I stamped my sentiment on a scrap of Basic White in Lost Lagoon ink and fussy cut around the edges. I adhered that to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I like the look of the white ink over the textured card front – how about you?

Here are the products that I used (I am listing the suite and the elements separately):
