Celebratory Sips in a Peaceful Garden (Part 2)

A handmade card featuring a dove, the words 'PEACE ON EARTH,' and a decorative background with blue leaves and floral patterns.

Here is the second card I made while watching the replay of Stampin’ Up!’s Creativity Now. (Might be my favorite but we’ll see). Look at that matching envelope!!

This card using some of that beautiful glimmer paper (Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, and Azure Afternoon are the colors), a bunch of the dies, that gorgeous ribbon and almost a whole sheet of the DSP from the suite:

A collection of craft supplies featuring the 'Peace on Earth' photopolymer stamp set, various patterned and textured papers in shades of blue, a roll of ribbon, embellishments, and metal dies arranged against a light background.

Here’s a closer look at the detail on the card:

A handmade greeting card featuring a white dove on a glittery background, with the message 'PEACE ON EARTH' in blue letters, adorned with a decorative ribbon and floral patterned paper.
An open greeting card featuring a white dove silhouette and the text 'PEACE, LOVE & JOY' on a pale blue background. The card is surrounded by a floral patterned envelope.

I had to make another card using this layout – it’s just that awesome. Here is my take on the Creativity Now card using the Celebratory Sips Collection:

A handmade card featuring a colorful drink illustration, embellishments, and festive phrases 'IT'S YOUR DAY!' and 'LET'S CELEBRATE!' on a textured background, paired with a matching envelope decorated with floral patterns.

And the inside:

Inside of a handmade card featuring a light orange background with a 'Cheers' greeting in a stylish font and images of ice cubes in the bottom corner.

The card base is a 4″ x 12″ of DSP scored at 2″ and 7 1/2″. The inside layer is Basic White (3 1/2″ x 5″). For the front of the card, I embossed a piece of cardstock (3″ x 4″) and then decorated. To make sure the ribbon can pass easily, we cut a notch in our label using the Take Your Pick Crafter Knife. Run that ribbon through the label first and then secure the top part with Dimensionals making sure all passes easily.

The envelope is a piece of DSP cut at 6 3/4″ x 9 1/4″. With the 6 3/4″ side along the top, score 1/2″ in from either side. Rotate a quarter turn and score at 3″ and 7 1/4″. Cut the flaps and assemble.

The sky is the limit with this design – what are you going to make with it?
